This image shows train tracks overgorwn with vegetation in New York's High Line Park. The tracks were removed during the park's construction phase and later added as decoration. The overgrown look is meant to simulate the days when the High Line was practically abandoned, after closing in 1980. The park opened in 2009.

It looks like these tracks haven’t been touched since the last train rode on the High Line in 1980. In reality, everything was removed during the park’s construction. The original tracks were later integrated into the park’s design. The overgrown vegetation is meant to simulate the High Line; abandoned days.
